Traditional SEO focuses on keywords in headlines and paragraphs, long form content that targets search queries, backlinks and internal linking structure, optimized metadata, sitemaps and more.

AI agents operate differently. They’re interested in:


1. A clear structured explanation of what your product does:
“Our CRM helps real estate teams track leads, automate follow-ups, and close more deals.”

2. Dedicated pages for each feature on your site (don’t stuff multiple offers on one page). AI agents like to see clear URLs that list exactly what you offer:
/features/email-tracking or /use-cases/real-estate

3. Clearly readable summaries and FAQs:
What problem does March CRM solve?  Who is our CRM for? etc.

4. Schema markup (so AI agents can see information behind the scenes that humans can’t see on your site — usually written in JSON) and simple organized HTML:
<h2>Price</h2>, <h2>Best For</h2>, <p>CRM for real estate agents to track leads.</p>

5. Make sure your site clearly explains who the product is for, what problem it solves. Who, what, why, how etc.

An AI agent will interpret a user’s intent and then report back to him/her with the top choices with its reasoning. You want your company’s products to be included in those recommendations.
