Weekly Founder Pulse: June 15. Builders up, SaaS cooled, Canada surging.
Hello, Aron here,
Every week we pull the latest data from our platform and share what moved.
Here's what changed this week and what it means for your idea.

The Founder Momentum Index (FMI) measures the overall health of the early-stage founder environment, similar to how the VIX tracks market volatility. Higher means more founders are moving forward.
Builders are up
The percentage of founders taking meaningful action ticked up this week. Sprinters and Builders now represent 34.3% of our platform, up from 33.9% last week.
What it means for you: If you've been sitting on an idea, you're in good company with a growing group that decided to act.
SaaS cooled. Platforms surged.
SaaS dropped 2.7 points in category share this week: from 22.8% to 20.1%.
Platforms picked up the slack, rising from 15.9% to 16.8%.
AI/Tech also pulled back slightly from 15.8% to 13.4%.
What it means for you: The recurring revenue dream is still dominant, but founders may be shifting toward platform and marketplace models. Worth watching whether this continues.
Canada is closing in on India

Australia still leads global build propensity at 29.2%. But the story this week is Canada: rising from 23.2% to 24.2% and nearly matching India at 24.7%.
What it means for you: The most motivated founders right now aren't necessarily where you'd expect.
Consulting still leads execution
For the second week running Consulting/Services has the highest execution rate of any category. Founders who know their customer and solve a real operational pain keep moving forward at higher rates than any other group.
What it means for you: The most executable idea might not be the most exciting one. Boring problems with clear customers move.
The number that didn't move
88% of founders who act do so within 10 minutes of validation. That number has barely budged in weeks. It is the most consistent finding in our entire dataset.
What it means for you: The window is open right now. What you do in the next few minutes matters more than any amount of preparation.
What we're watching this week
A few things worth watching as this week plays out:
Canada's build propensity jumped a full percentage point in three days, we're watching whether it overtakes India.
HealthTech and Manufacturing lead our hesitation index. Curious to see if that trend holds.
And the FMI hit 77 this week, the highest we've tracked recently. We're watching whether that momentum holds or pulls back.
