• Abstract ideas create abstract next steps. You can launch an e-commerce store this week. When the first step is unclear, though, validation keeps feeling productive.

• HealthTech's low score is the surprise finding. Heavily regulated, technically complex, high stakes. Proximity to the problem seems to override complexity.

• High volume plus high hesitation is a tough combination. SaaS is our most submitted category and one of the least likely to produce a builder. The dream of recurring revenue is real and the behavioral cost of chasing it is underappreciated.

• The gap is wider than most founders realize. If you feel like you're spinning your wheels in your category, so is almost everyone else in it.
