A few idea rabbit holes you will want to explore this week.
Hey, Aron here.
Here are a few interesting things worth exploring this week.
No homework. No build requirements. Just fun things to look at if you are an idea explorer. Let’s jump in.
An idea worth thinking about
People love their pets, and the pet economy is massive.
Now imagine adding AI.
AI-powered pet health monitoring.
Personalized nutrition and meal planning.
Smart pet sitters and activity trackers.
AI tools that help shelters match pets with owners.
Personalized training assistants.
Could there be a business hiding in here somewhere?
A surprising Kickstarter rabbit hole
I was browsing Kickstarter and sorted projects by the most backers.
Something interesting stood out to me:
Board games, strategy games, and tabletop games seem to be constantly in the top funded startups.
Turns out, tabletop games had an 80% funding success rate in 2024, with $220 million pledged to successful projects.
Why?
Passionate communities? Collectability? The excitement of discovering a new game before everyone else? I honestly am not sure.
Whatever the reason, it's an interesting market to explore.

A strange place to discover business ideas
People are selling spreadsheets for all types of businesses and problems.
Visit Etsy and search for business spreadsheet templates.
You'll find spreadsheets for budgeting, inventory, rental properties, weddings, and hundreds of other things. Some sell for really high prices.
Could one of these spreadsheets become a simple AI-powered business?
